I am not sweating this Ran Paul trash talking bigot. The American public is too damn smart to not see he would reinstate Jim Crow segregation.

Rand Paul Holds Small Lead Over Democrat Jack Conway in Kentucky Senate Race

While a Rasmussen Reports poll had Republican senate nominee Rand Paul jumping out to a 25 point lead after his May 18 primary victory, a Daily Kos/Research 2000 survey conducted May 24-26 is far less exuberant with Paul holding a 44 percent to 41 percent lead over Democratic Attorney General Jack Conway. Fifteen percent are undecided and the margin of error is 4 points.

Paul gets 86 percent support from fellow Republicans while Conway gets 75 percent for Democrats. Paul leads among independents by a 42 percent to 31 percent margin with 27 percent undecided.

Both candidates are viewed favorably by voters, though Paul somewhat more so. Fifty-three percent have a positive view of Paul while 33 percent do not, with 14 percent undecided. Conway is seen favorably by 48 percent and unfavorably by 43 percent with 9 percent undecided.
